CHAMBER MUSIC
The MtH Chamber Ensembles refers to small ensembles such as trios, quartets, and quintets that will be formed from selected members of the larger ensembles.  Chamber Ensembles have included: Flute Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble, Saxophone Ensemble, Woodwind Quintet, Trombone Choir, Brass Quartet/Quintet, Brass Ensemble, and Percussion Ensemble.  Some of these groups will rehearse during the school day as part of "Viking Time", while others may be offered as before or after school extended experiences.  These ensembles offer opportunities to perform at the HCPSS Solo & Ensemble Festival, MMEA Solo & Ensemble Festival and other concerts throughout the year.
  • The MtH Chamber Ensembles are co-curricular ensembles, meaning students MUST be enrolled in a performing (concert) ensemble in order to participate.
