The MtH Choirs are academic courses in which students explore the world around them through the lens of choral singing. In daily rehearsals, students  learn the foundations of proper vocal technique while singing music from many times and many places. Along the way, students identify unique characteristics that make each piece so special. These characteristics speak to the culture and time from which the music originated, and analyzing them helps students to be more thoughtful and appreciative of the beauty that surrounds them in their daily lives.

Students enrolled in the choral program at Mount Hebron also spend time getting to know and celebrate the peers that surround them on their choral journey. At the end of the day, choral singing is all about human connection and leaning on others to create an end product that represents our collective spirit.

The MtH Choirs are comprised of students in 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade who elect to participate in choir. Similar to other academic courses, the choirs meet daily during the 50-minute class period.
