FUTURE VIKINGS NIGHT

September 19, 2025
Join us for a fun evening under the stadium lights
where Future Vikings get to see a performance of the Marching Unit,
meet current members, and march with the band!

Picture
Hey Future Vikings,

I would like to invite all student musicians in grades 5 - 8 who will attend Mt. Hebron High School to join the Mt. Hebron Marching Unit (MtHMU) for our annual Future Vikings Band Night! Our Future Vikings event is a fun evening under the stadium lights as we cheer on the Mt. Hebron football team. Students will pair up with a high school musician and march onto the field for our pre-game show. Students will also get a front row seat to see and hear our halftime performance. After halftime, students can visit the concession stand for a quick snack before heading home or watching the second half of the game. I hope you will join us for this awesome Mt. Hebron tradition.

Viking Strong,

Dr. Fischer (Band Director)

NOTES
  1. Students and parents should meet in the end zone at 5:15 pm.
  2. HCPSS Policy states that elementary and middle school students MUST be accompanied by an adult at high school athletic events. Parents/Guardians MUST be present at the game during the event. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  3. Students must stay with their Mt. Hebron band member for the duration of the pre-game show.
  4. Immediately following our halftime performance, Future Vikings (with parents/guardians) may visit the concession stand, remain in the stands for the second half, or leave for the evening.
  5. Please be respectful of all students performing at halftime and give them your undivided attention. The band and colorguard performers work many hours to put together our halftime show to entertain the crowd.
  6. Please dress for the weather. Students will not have access to the building and will need to carry any personal belongings with them.
  7. NO INSTRUMENTS! Due to the number of participants and limited space in the stands, students will not need instruments for this event.
