The Mt. Hebron High School Music Department has a long history of musical excellence and artistry since the school opened in 1964.  The department serves over 500 students through both performance-based and non-performance-based classes.  Included in the curriculum are 3 concert bands, percussion ensemble, jazz ensemble, jazz combo, 2 choirs, and 2 orchestras, as well as classes in piano, guitar, music theory, and music technology.  In addition to the curricular classes, various co-curricular ensembles and musical experiences are offered.
