Sub Sale
Welcome to the SUB SALE to benefit the Mt. Hebron Band and Marching Unit! This is our largest fundraiser of the year. A percentage of the proceeds from each student’s total sales (minus expenses) is deposited into their student account to be used towards any band expenses, including spring trip payments. We encourage EVERY STUDENT to participate, with a goal of selling at least 20 subs or collecting $50 in donations. We offer incentives for the highest sellers, so get out there and sell some subs! Do you accept donations?
- If you do not want a sub, we accept monetary donations to support the efforts of our hard working students. Fifty percent of the donations are applied to student accounts, with the remainder funding Marching Unit and band expenses ranging from instruments to uniform repair to music.
Where do I turn my orders in?
- Once you have completed your sales and collected all monies, envelopes can be dropped in the "IN" box in the band room.
Can buyers pay for their subs when they are delivered?
- No, we need payments up front to cover the costs of supplies, including sub ingredients.
What if a student cannot be at the sub-making day?
- We expect that all students will assist in the sub-making experience, while supporting their band program. If you simply cannot make it, we will miss you, but still sell those subs! You will need to arrange to have another student / parent pick-up and deliver the subs you have sold.
Can I turn in an order late?
- It is important to get all orders in ON TIME! If you forget to bring your orders and payments in on collection night, you may bring them in the next day. After that, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fill orders.
Can I turn in an order early?
- Sure, but make sure it is in the proper envelope and labeled correctly.
What if I have not gotten all of my payments in by collection night?
- We ask that all monies be included when you turn in your order. Parents can often cover the payment and then have the buyer reimburse them directly.
How will I know/confirm who ordered subs online and credited me?
- Students who have online sales credited to them will receive an email with the details the week before sub-making day. Students may be asked to deliver subs that have been purchased online.
What is the money raised used for?
- The funds earned help cover important needs for the entire band program, including music, instruments, repairs, fees, uniform replacement and other expenses.
